About CPC
The Centre for Progressive Change (CPC) is a not-for-profit organisation aimed at building national campaigns for a more progressive society.
We do this by driving our own national campaigns, carrying out research on what works when creating progressive change at scale, and by sharing our expertise through training and consultancy to support others to be effective.
What we do

We use all of the tools at our disposal to win campaigns including community organising, mobilising, advocacy, communcations, campaign research and business engagement. We support people with our expertise in these areas to also win their own campaigns.
Our Vision
Our vision is of a world where people are treated as equals, treated with dignity and respect and where they are free to be who they are without persecution. A world where everyone has the material things they need and has time to rest and play. A world where people are active participants on the decisions that affect their lives, and where the well-being of people, communities and the environment are put before all else.
... in other words our vision is of a world that is progressive.
How We Get There
We have a long way to go to make that vision a reality in the UK and at times it feels like we are going backwards rather than forwards. But we believe we can get there by winning progressive campaigns on a BIG scale.
From the 8-hour working day, to votes for women, to gay marriage, to the Equality Act, these progressive steps, and more, have been thanks to a group of people acting together to make them happen. That is why we want to support progressive individuals and organisations to act together using tried and tested methodologies for change, so that we can see the next series of large scale progressive wins that our grandkids take for granted!
